Tablet 267

description

Inv.no.86.496.b. 53 x 22 mm.
A fragment from the right-hand side of a leaf containing the abraded remains of three lines of a letter, mostly illegible apart from tui in line 2. On the back there is an address, probably to Cerialis.

commentary

Back.1. The remains of the cognomen are exiguous. We read Cer[iali because of the find-spot, the gentilicium (which is, of course, not certain) and praef in line 2, which is very probable.
