Tablet 287

description 62 x 13 mm.
A fragment perhaps containing the end of a letter and an address to Cerialis.

Front.2. saluta a me does not seem a probable reading.

Front.3. The line seems to begin with h; TLL VI 2901 cites one example of honestus spelt honistus, CIL 16.108.extr.12 (AD 158).

Back.1. The reading of Ceriali is compatible with the traces but it is very difficult indeed to read the end of Flauio preceding it.

Back.2. coh appears to be followed by a diagonal stroke, perhaps a mark of abbreviation.
