Therefore this cannot be part of a letter to Verecundus (for whom see 154, 210-2); possibilities are the start of a letter to someone called Verecundi(n)us, or, if this is the back, an address to the wife or slave of Verecundus (cf. 302).
Only the tops of one or two letters of the second line survive.
