Archaeological data. Location: SG/NE (intervallum road). Period: 3.
A scrap from the right-hand column of a letter referring to Lepidina. No doubt we have a letter sent to Cerialis, possibly from Brocchus, though this is by no means necessary. The hand, however, is similar to that of 292 from Brocchus' wife (cf. 292, introduction for other texts in this hand).

3. Supply tua]ṃ Lepidi[nam as part of a greeting? Also possible is cu]ṃ Lepidi[na tua, cf. 622.ii.2.

Back. Faint traces of at least one descender of line 1 and a few letters in line 2, both in address script. Line 2 may read p]raef, but the traces are very uncertain.
