Tablet 673

description 64 x 20 mm.
Archaeological data. Location: SG/NW. Period: 5/6.
Two fragments of an account written along the grain. The fragments probably join, since the tops and bottoms of letters seem to straddle the break, but they have now become warped. Siligo, soft bread wheat, also occurs in 586, along with halica, and in 591. The former also uses the same idiosyncratic form of abbreviating the modius as this account, as m with a superscript o (see 586 introd.). There is no reason to think that this is part of the same account as 586; it might have been written by the same person, although the sample of the hand is too small to be sure.
